Statement of Faith

We believe:

In the plenary verbal inspiration and infallibility of the whole Bible, and the Bible is the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice.

In the personal, triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in divine perfection.

In the Genesis account of creation.

In the deity and virgin birth of Jesus Christ.

In the suffering and death of Jesus to be substitutionary and vicarious.

In the bodily resurrection and ascension of Christ and the bodily resurrection of His saints.

In the Pre-Millennial Second Coming of Jesus Christ, personal and bodily, as the crowning event of this age.

A New Testament Church is a local congregation of scripturally baptized believers covenanted together for the business of carrying out the Great Commission. This commission was given to churches only; and the New Testament Churches have always been at work in all ages since our Lord’s personal ministry.

In the eternal punishment of the finally impenitent.

In the ordinance of baptism by immersion of the believer in water, by the authority of the local church, to show the death and burial of the old life, and resurrection to walk in the new life of the Christian.

In the Lord’s Supper as an ordinance to be observed by the local church in the church’s capacity to show forth the central importance of the Lord’s death until He comes.

In the biblical description of the existence of Satan, the adversarial spirit, who acts as tempter and accuser: who is an enemy of the work of God in Creation and human affairs.
